soon to be last blog post

it is soon going to be the day of reckoning because i am worried that i am not going to have enough artwork to finish my portfolio. i tried my hardest to pump out cups but we will see what happens. My last couple pieces are made with sodium silicate brushed on the outside. i want to gas fire two of these cups with ilya's green glaze. i hope the cracks in my pot still show up after this gets fired. Im really banking that they do..

tumblers

i have decided to make a set of tumblers but i was thinking that i would make different textures of the tumblers. i want this look, i want a smooth one, one with sod. sili and something else what other texture should i use?

Any Ideas?

i have been working on my cups very hard and i am wondering what sort of textures i should put on my vessels? any ideas?

i am making progress on my new concentration... functional pottery with an emphasis on cups i have 2 almost finished as well as many more on the way

i am going to move away from the bird mold. i wasnt going to do this before but i think im going to change my concentration to elements of flight and wind on a clay medium as well as found objects. i wanna make wings i think that would be really cool but at the same time i want to keep using wheel thrown artwork.
