i am going to move away from the bird mold. i wasnt going to do this before but i think im going to change my concentration to elements of flight and wind on a clay medium as well as found objects. i wanna make wings i think that would be really cool but at the same time i want to keep using wheel thrown artwork.
hey i saw some wheel thrown vessels that had, what looked like to be wings (almost) carved into a section of it and looked really cool. maybe you could consider making something like it

ReplyDeleteI agree Topher you should make some wings for all of us.. then we could have in flight duels.. how sick would that be?! but yeah i think it would be cool if you got some good ole' TFJ and just sculpted a simple bird shape and stained it. like a bird i mid take-off from the ground that would be bosszzz
